|
I have always been an animal lover and from an early age dogs were a main part of my life. I grew up with my parents breeding and showing Irish Setters. I showed our own dogs from an early age in both the main stream championship rings and also as a junior handler. Being successful at both. This led to my showing dogs of all breeds for other people and becoming involved in all aspects of training. As a young person I earnt my pocket money by working weekends in grooming parlours , kennels, and as an assistant to the local veterinary surgeon, who still refers clients to me today. After qualifying as a scientist and having a good job in the pharmaceutical industry I realised that I wanted to be involved in helping people enjoy their dogs and giving their dogs a stress free life by showing them how to communicate and train effectively. I have now been working as a canine psychologist for the past 5 years. Recommended by numerous veterinary surgeons, rescue centres. I frequently talk on radio shows on all aspects of animal behaviour. I have been in national newspapers from time to time. Please feel free to contact me and find out how I can help you and your dog. |
